Are there suggested travel dates?
- New York attendees should prepare to arrive on August 1; London attendees should prepare to arrive on August 8. While there is no scheduled programming for this day, the first evening (August 1 or August 8) will be dedicated for team dinners.
Do I need to reserve my own hotel room?
- No. The company will be making hotel arrangements on behalf of all attendees. Please make sure you have indicated your accommodation needs on your registration form.
Will I be able to arrive earlier or extend my stay?
- Yes, however, the company will only be responsible for the hotel charges for the duration of the event. Individuals will be responsible for any additional nights, or if you plan to extend your stay for business purposes, please speak with your manager for approval.
Will I receive a hotel confirmation?
- Yes, a confirmation email will be sent directly from the hotel. For any changes, please contact Amy Kim (akim@cockroachlabs.com) - the hotel reservations team is unable to process changes directly.
Can I schedule meetings or calls during the breaks or plan around the agenda?
- If there is a need to schedule calls or meetings, please arrange them either before or after the program.
Are all sessions mandatory to attend?
- Yes, all sessions, including the evening social engagements are mandatory attendance. We are dedicating these days for you to connect with your team members both within and outside of your functions.
What is the dress code?
- Business Casual.
Please remember that while it may be summer weather outdoors, you will be indoors for most of the day. Pack a light sweater or jacket if you are sensitive to A/C. Evening events will have both indoor and outdoor spaces so please dress accordingly.
